I was born in 1970 in Malatya. I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Malatya. In 1988, I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine with a degree in Malatya and received the title of Doctor of Medicine in 1994. In 1994-1996, I completed my compulsory service in Malatya Health Directorate as an Education Coordinator in cooperation with METU Faculty of Education, I gave in-service trainings to many nurses and primary care physicians. In 1997, I started my specialization in Neurosurgery at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital and became a Neurosurgery Specialist in 2004.

In 2012, I started my Master’s Degree in Health Management at Istanbul Okan University. In 2018, I completed my Master’s Degree in Health Policies under the thesis supervision of Prof. Dr. Mithat Kıyak with the thesis title of “Turkish Health Transformation Program of Health Transformation Program”.
